John W. Black, the president and owner, is a two-term past president of the Alarm Association of Florida, a statewide professional organization of alarm contractors. He was appointed by the governor of Florida to a four-year term on the state certified electrical/alarm contractors licensing board. John has served on the Melbourne Construction Advisory Board, both as a member and as chair, for over ten years.
Roger G. Black, Vice President and General Manager, is currently over the day-to-day operations of DetectAlert. Roger has been designing and installing high quality systems since 1978.
DetectAlert has been a member of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and the National Burglar and Fire Alarm Association (NBFAA) for over twenty years.
